the fine folks at Headwind Cycling have been running the BBRE (Best Bike Race Ever). A social distancing bike race using strava. This is one of the sprints in the Hilliard area.

This is a short hill off the main bike trail near my house. I was using this video as a test for a longer edit on a larger hill. However, the next time I rode through here I crashed a few yards before this corner tearing up my knee. At least I have this clean run . . .

Since the crash, I have extra free time to work on videos. This was short edit mixing different content and playing with new techniques. The result is a little grainer than I wanted, but a learning experience is a good thing.

After the Eurobike show, me and a colleague from my old employer, were treated to a mountain bike ride in the Urbesee area a Germany. The trail we rode was our German colleague’s home trail. He was on an Enduro full suspension bike with a dropper post and DH tires, while we were on XC hardtails with low profile tires. We were in for a bad day.
